IS YOUR BIKE DEPRESSED?
WITH over two thirds of bicycles stuck in a garden shed and hardly ever seeing the light of day - it is no wonder your bike might be depressed. According to national statistics, 43% of the population have access to a bicycle, but less than 10% use them regularly. But, think on...according to a recent report, the average cost of running a car for a year is 3.5k. What are you waiting for? Get that bike out of your shed! |
WHO WE ARE?
Shed Bike Rides are free bike rides organised by members of Brighton & Hove CTC aimed at getting first time cyclists or lapsed cyclists back on the road in a comfortable environment. We recognise that many people are put off cycling because of lack of confidence, traffic or perhaps worried about having to cycle too far out of their comfort zone. If you join one of our rides, you do so, safe in the knowledge that a Shed Bike Ride is over a shorter distance, generally on cycle paths and at a very comfortable pace, led by experienced cyclists. If you would like to take that first tentative step that could change the rest of your life, then one of our rides could be for you! STOP PRESS: Brighton Council have recently announced new cycling figures! Cycling has doubled in the City in the last ten years....Come on 'get on your bike' and join us on a Shed Ride! |
